As Piper works to ensure that its graduates are future-ready for whatever their post-secondary pursuits may be, our work with Real World Learning Initiatives is vitally important. The vision for Real World Learning perfectly aligns with Piper’s belief that every student’s educational experience should be based on content-steeped in relevance with ample opportunities for application beyond the traditional classroom. 

Partnering with the Kauffman Foundation Real World Learning Community Initiative has allowed our high school to undergo a redesign to launch wall-to-wall career-focused academies, increase our industry and community partners to provide real world learning throughout district classrooms, and increase our Market Value Asset opportunities and attainment.
